Level I course, designed for all those who want to learn to navigate a sea kayak in calm waters, with winds up to F3 Beaufort scale, always with a partner by their side. Ideal to make a first contact with the kayak.
Level II course, aimed at people who are already paddling but want to improve their technique and learn advanced maneuvers, as well as those who have completed level 1 but want to finish their basic training and be able to go solo up to F3 Beaufort.
This course is aimed at all those paddlers, whether river or sea, who want to learn to self-rescue using the skimming technique. Skimming is a technique used to recover the paddling position in case of overturning of our kayak.
So that you can acquire the necessary knowledge to successfully carry out the skimming maneuver we will use a method divided into different phases, these aim to achieve progressive learning, both with the environment and with the technique.
The course is carried out with a reduced ratio of 1/6 and is taught by a training technician from the Catalan Canoeing Federation.
